Vintage French hand decorated white opaline glass trinket box/casket

  

White coloured opaline glass box, with hand painted decoration. Has "decor main" on the base, indicating that this item was made after 1945. I suspect this was made in the 1950s. Measures 13cm tall, and diameter at widest point is approx 7cm. Item is in lovely condition.

Also many of the items are hand made, they may have small imperfections such as bubbles, inclusions & lumps within the glass and often tool marks from where they have been shaped and worked in the manufacturing process.
