Up on offer here is a superb "all original" reclaimed 1940s art deco French architectural Moulded Opaline milk glass Utility pendant light fixture with all original Chrome plate & Bakelite fittings... Rare, unusual, all original and quite impressive piece of period lighting. Large architectural plafoniere design reclaimed schoolhouse utility Opaline milk glass light shade with large deep relief gilt pomegranate motifs. Beautiful monk cap fittings comprising a large outer chrome plated ventilated plate gallery with a decorative base finial and an inner locking fitted shield. Original 1940s chrome plated central shaft with an original upper lockable ceiling rose plate. Original "three-way" light head with original Bakelite B-22 bayonet fit bulb holders. Re-wired in period match two-core fabric braided 0.75mm twist cable, tested, and in perfect working order.

Ready for installation, No other parts required other than a space on the ceiling, and a couple of suitable screws. For dimensions, please see images.

The original School house light fixture is in beautiful original period condition; with a charming aging patina and "No Known faults";some 6-7 mm missing off the black edging of the large dish, but nothing to impede its functionality or appearance.
