Original Art Deco Chrome Lady Table Lamp & Opaline Glass Shade
TThis is a beautiful Original Deco Period Chrome Table lamp depicting an athletic lady in a sporting pose as its central theme and comes complete with opaline glass shade. It consists of an elliptical ebonised wooden base with a black marble plinth on which sits the chrome lady figure. The centre stem is made from chrome and houses the original chrome gallery on which sits the opaline glass shade, complete with a bakelite push button switch. The shade is in an "ice cream Cone " shape and made from opaline milk glass.
It measures 23.5 inches tall and is 7.5 inches at the base, the shade is 6 inches diameter. The chrome sections do have some wear and surface scratches consistent with the age of the lamp please see photos. The shade is perfect in that it has no chips cracks or damage.
