French White Opaline Glass Gilt Scallop Rim Footed Tazza Compote Pair 1870-1920

  

Fantastic pair of French tazzas in opaline glass with gilt rims. The gilding is well worn. Bottom rims have a couple small chips on each.

One has a small chip in the top rim. They are otherwise in good condition. No cracks or large chips. These appear to be late Victorian era. They are lovely little things. Because of the basically soft monotone look of these the little chips blend in very well. If you're not looking for them you really don't see them.

These could absolutely be used for serving and look good doing it! Approximately 6.75" high and 6.75" across the top.
