French White Gold Opaline Glass Tobacco Spittoon Cuspidor19th C. Rare tobacco spittoon or cuspidor in French white opaline crystal glass with gold borders made around 1850 French 2nd Empire period.

The pontil has been grinded. 5"3/4 high 8"7/8 diameter. Perfect condition only inside a few use on the gilt as presented on the following pictures. For our French-speaking friends: Crachoir en opaline de cristal blanc d'époque 2ème Empire vers 1850. Il est entièrement fait à la main et réhaussé de filets d'or.

La pate est étirée sur le moule et le col est ourlé. Trace de tournage et de pontil meulé. Très bel état, légères traces d'usure de dorure seulment à l'intérieur.
