Antique Baccarat pair of large gilt white opaline glass vases c 1850
Absolutely stunning pair of white opaline glass vases, produced by the very famous French company Baccarat in the 1850s. Features gorgeous acid etched and gilt painted exotic landscape of palm trees, flowers and plants on a white soapy opaline glass background. Gold rim around the base and top, polished pontil. Vases are unsigned, they had probably paper label at one time, but that kind of quality corresponds only to the Maison of Baccarat.
